My Lucky Daddy Long Legs
Fossil Daddy-Long-Legs or Harvester. Jurassic 100 million yrs. I found this on Lyme Regis beach Oct 2008. It was just an ordinary pebble I found - nothing on it - until I dissolved the chalk away from it's surface - by immersing it in Viacal solution - and the insect made it's appearance. Sheer luck!

Work No.850. Martin Creed Exhibit at Tate Britain, London
Martin's work centres on a simple idea: that a person will run as fast as they can every thirty seconds through the gallery. Each run is followed by an equivalent pause, like a musical rest, during which the grand Neoclassical gallery is empty.
This work celebrates physicality and the human spirit. Creed has instructed the runners to sprint as if their lives depended on it. Bringing together people from different backgrounds from all over London, Work No. 850 presents the beauty of human movement in its purest form, a recurring yet infinitely variable line drawn between two points.

'It's just what I do. I've liked the notion of piercing since I was fifteen. I'm covered in rings - silver, gold and I'm saving up to have the one under my nose made of platinum. 'Hey Gang, Let's Do The Show Right Here!'
During a recent TV showing of 42nd Street, on TCM, the sun's rays made this oblique design through my living room's Venetian Blinds and onto the screen.
"This lady was a passenger on a late night Eurostar from London to Paris. All I could see of her was her reflection above me made by the perspex of an over-head luggage rack. I have turned the image upside down then reversed it laterally. She had no idea that I took her picture".

'Photo-Fusion' - 2
This shot of Nathan was achieved firstly by making a realistic layout in the application Poser. Then in the studio, getting him to stand in all 6 positions with lights and tripod locked down. The exposure was identical in each shot so as not to nullify the effect of depth through shadows, mid-tones and highlights. The final combination was achieved through layers in Photoshop. I love this picture!
These three clever and funny hieroglyphs are on the women's, men's and disabled doors to the toilets at one of the Basuba Eastern style restaurants in Central London, UK. For aesthetic reasons I have changed the colour of these signs from what was acid red to green. I am hating red these days - sorry about that!
